Cleveland Metroparks Youth Outdoors aims to meet the developmental requirements of youth living in or near the City of Cleveland through participation in outside adventure and nature expedition activities. By experiencing the wonder of nature and establishing abilities in outdoor recreation, youths, age 8 - 18, get a life-long gratitude and understanding of the significance of parks and nature.
Youth get involved in Cleveland Metroparks Youth Outdoors program through groups based in or near the City of Cleveland. These include City of Cleveland Recreation Centers, faith-based organizations, and other youth-serving organizations. Our objective is to provide monthly outings and activities developed to fulfill the abilities of each taking part youth group.
